As a Shuttle Transportation Operator with Transdev, you will be responsible for providing essential transportation services through our ADA-compliant shuttle service. You will play a vital role in connecting individuals to employment, healthcare, education, and recreational activities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate various shuttle or non-revenue vehicles within the designated service area, adhering to a set schedule.
  • Maintain excellent attendance.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections as required.
  • Understand the demographics of the service area.
  • Stop at designated locations to assist with loading and unloading passengers.
  • Provide assistance to passengers using mobility aids, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding any service issues, incidents, or vehicle concerns.
  • Ensure fare collection and provide information to passengers regarding service rules.
  • Complete necessary reports related to passenger incidents and vehicle operations.
  • Operate onboard technology, including fare collection systems and destination displays.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Hold a valid driver's license for a minimum of three years.
  • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills are essential.
  • Must comply with DOT drug testing regulations.
  • A DOT medical card is required (exam fee covered by the company).
