Job Summary

The Land Acquisition Manager at Lennar Homes plays a vital role in identifying and acquiring land and development opportunities that align with the company's homebuilding strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential land acquisition targets, staying up-to-date on current trends in land development and homebuilding.
  • Due Diligence: Facilitate the due diligence process for contracted projects, working closely with the VP of Land and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
  • Negotiation: Assist management in negotiating purchase and sale agreements, collaborating with external attorneys to secure favorable contract terms.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory reports, critical dates, contract summaries, and periodic market analyses to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business administration, engineering, accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in computer literacy, including word-processing, spreadsheet analysis, project scheduling, and data management software. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role.
  • Experience: Valid driver's license with a good driving record is necessary for occasional travel to meet with clients and partners.
