Associate Director of Development

Key Responsibilities- Set annual goals and track progress to achieve divisional and team expectations.
- Qualify, cultivate, and solicit prospects through personal visits, direct mail, phone, or volunteer utilization.
- Plan and execute trips to assigned prospects to attain 125 or more visits annually and create a pipeline for future solicitations.
- Communicate with university stakeholders to ensure effective prospect management.
- Manage and develop a portfolio of major gift prospects, determining ongoing relationship activities and recommending specific gift purposes.
- Support Annual Giving and other development efforts as needed.
- Track prospect outreach and relationship building through ADVANCE and Salesforce databases.
- Stay current on university programs, faculty, research, and student initiatives.
- Collaborate with faculty, deans, and advancement colleagues as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of successful fundraising experience, preferably in higher education, including direct solicitation of five and six-figure gifts from individuals.
