Elmwood Group Homes is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Charge Nurse LPNs to join our team. We have newly established positions available on various shifts, including Dayshift, Afternoon shift, and a combination of morning and afternoon shifts. The shift timings are as follows:

  • 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  • 6:30 AM - 9:00 AM & 3:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Each LPN role requires working during the week, every third weekend, and rotating holidays. We offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus for new hires. Additionally, inquire about our Perfect Attendance incentive, Pick up Incentive, and other available benefits. Elmwood also provides a supplemental hourly wage based on years of experience, up to 10 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care to residents and monitor their health status.
  • Report any changes in symptoms and conditions to the oncoming nurse and physician as necessary.
  • Record vital signs and administer prescribed medications and treatments, noting patient responses.
  • Prepare and maintain medical instruments and equipment.
  • Assist physicians during treatments and rounds as required.
  • Call for emergency services and notify family members when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of residents' conditions, medications, and treatments.
  • Assist with bathing and feeding residents.
  • Coordinate admissions under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates of resident records in line with physician orders and nursing observations.
  • Oversee the facility during the absence of senior management.
  • Foster a positive physical, social, and psychological environment for residents.
  • Stay informed about current regulations and ensure compliance with necessary documentation.
  • Attend assigned meetings and supervise nursing assistants during your shift.
  • Report any discrepancies in patient care quality to the Director of Nursing.
  • Monitor the implementation of residents' Plans of Care continuously.
  • Provide occasional nursing services as needed within the assisted living facility.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 32 – 34 hours per week
