Job Title: Airline Experience Product Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner - Airline Experience to join our team at ZAPCOM GROUP INC. This is a remote position.

About the RoleThis role will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, cutting-edge software applications that meet the needs of our airline clients. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Elicit business requirements from various stakeholders and represent the voice of the business and the customer.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, scrum teams, and other stakeholders to identify and close product gaps.
  • Experience writing requirements in the form of user stories and refining and clarifying requirements with both business and IT stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills to lead sessions and present findings to all levels of the organization.
  • Able to build trusted partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Adequate technical acumen to communicate effectively with engineers and understand technical tradeoffs.
  • Lead grooming and clarification sessions to provide engineering, QA, and UAT teams detailed requirements to develop and test against.
  • Partner with Product Managers to execute on the product roadmap by working with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements and create supporting artifacts.

Required Attributes:
  • Knowledge of airline products and services.
  • Able to manage multiple responsibilities at a given time while remaining organized, paying strict attention to detail, and meeting critical deadlines within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Provide business analyst support for large transformational projects through activities such as requirements workshops, process mapping exercises, and gap analysis.
  • Proactive and utilize critical thinking to make the right decisions for our customers and business.
  • Self-starter, able to work autonomously with little support.
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Education & Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or relevant field of study preferred.
Experience:
  • 8+ years of business analyst experience, preferably in Omnichannel or eCommerce/Point of sale applications. 2+ years should be in the relevant airline industry as Product Owner or Business Analyst is mandatory.
  • Experience with MS Visio or similar workflow process tools.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar tools preferred.
  • Experience working in agile delivery models preferred.
  • Experience working with product management teams preferred.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
