Position Overview:

Resource Environmental Solutions is seeking a dedicated Construction Operations Specialist to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring quality control and compliance during the execution of integrated delivery projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owner's Representation: Act as the primary representative for the company on construction sites, embodying our core values while engaging with project stakeholders, including vendors, subcontractors, clients, and landowners.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Utilize advanced survey equipment, including Trimble Robotic Station, to verify that all projects adhere to specified tolerances and standards. Training team members in the use of GPS and survey tools will also be part of your duties.
  • Vendor and Subcontractor Oversight: Assess and manage the reliability and performance of vendors and subcontractors, providing training on essential construction, regulatory, and design principles.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all projects meet necessary permit conditions and compliance requirements throughout the construction phase.
  • Documentation and Tracking: Maintain detailed daily logs of work performed, tracking progress, material usage, and equipment deployment, and communicate this information to the project management team.
  • Budget and Design Support: Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules, interpreting project plans and designs, and training others to understand these critical documents.

Qualifications:

We invite candidates who possess the following qualifications:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience in construction or ecological restoration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Experience with GPS and survey equipment for field operations.
  • OSHA 30 certification and CPR/AED/First Aid training.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in trailer towing and UTV operations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Geology, Applied Science, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of progressive experience in construction.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to navigate steep and uneven terrain.
  • Capable of carrying weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
