Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Manager to join our team at Friendship Community. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our residential facilities, ensuring the health and well-being of our residents, and providing exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with our Behavior Support Consultant.
  • Oversee the provision of residential services, including meal planning, food purchasing, and kitchen duties.
  • Manage and supervise a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), providing coaching and guidance to ensure high-quality care.
  • Conduct regular safety site inspections and maintain effective standards for the appearance and cleanliness of our facilities.
  • Collaborate with our Program Specialist and DSP Team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and manage the finances of our residents, ensuring compliance with FC and state regulations.
  • Facilitate county monitoring visits and maintain accurate records of individual's personal property inventory.
  • Develop and maintain the monthly team member core schedule, ensuring adequate staffing ratios.
  • Provide orientation and training to new team members, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Document team member performance, addressing concerns and growth areas in a constructive manner.
  • Facilitate monthly team meetings, summarizing discussions and action items in written minutes.
Requirements
  • Previous leadership experience and 1-2 years paid experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to be responsible, trustworthy, industrious, positive, and facilitate team efforts towards a common goal.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work non-scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
