The responsibilities of the Inventory and Cash Handling Associate include:

  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory, ensuring that all products are properly stored, labeled, and readily accessible for replenishment on the sales floor.
  • Entering receiving documents into the inventory management system and reconciling discrepancies between merchandise invoices and received items.
  • Facilitating timely transfers of merchandise between locations as needed.
  • Ensuring that visual merchandising elements, such as props and signage, are processed efficiently and stored appropriately.
  • Accurately processing sales transactions and promotions at the register.
  • Assisting in stock control measures to minimize opportunities for loss.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Prior experience in inventory management or cashiering is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

  • Physical capability to navigate the sales floor and stockroom, including lifting up to 30 pounds and performing tasks such as climbing and reaching.
  • Regular attendance is crucial to ensure adequate staffing levels.

Work Schedule:
Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
