About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Master's Level Liaison to join our team at the Helen Ross McNabb Center. As a key member of our school-based team, you will play a vital role in providing mental health services to children and families in the Knox County School System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Individual and Family Counseling: Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions to support the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents.
  • Assess and Develop Treatment Plans: Conduct psycho-social assessments and develop treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with School Personnel: Work closely with school staff to identify and address mental health needs, and provide support and resources to help students succeed.
  • Provide Crisis Intervention and Emergency Services: Respond to crisis situations and provide emergency services as needed to support the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Document and Maintain Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Human Services or Related Field: A master's degree in human services or a related field is required, with coursework or experience in areas such as cultural diversity, human development, and mental health.
  • Experience Working with Children and Families: One year of experience working with children and families is preferred, although applicants with other relevant skills and experiences may be considered.
  • Certifications and Training: CPR and First Aid Certification, as well as training in verbal de-escalation methods and personal/client safety techniques, are required.
