The Undiscovered and Small Business Accelerator (USBA) team at Amazon is dedicated to cultivating trust, eliminating systemic barriers, and empowering high-priority small and undiscovered businesses through targeted investments that enhance selling partner discoverability, readiness to scale, and access to sustainable pathways to equity that build generational wealth.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to help us build the data capabilities and insights that will further our ability to deliver on our commitments to our sellers.

The ideal candidate is a thought leader who thrives in an ambiguous environment and loves bringing insights to undefined problems.

They have expertise defining stakeholder data requirements and delivering complex analytical and reporting solutions across multiple cross-functional teams.

This role may be located in a US geographic market based on candidate preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysts (BAs) work directly with our business leaders to translate the voice of the seller and the data our team owns into actionable insights.

BAs collaborate with business leaders to provide data-based analyses and consult on what other data resources our team has to offer.

They dive deep on projects and work with engineers on our Business Intelligence team to continuously inspect and influence the direction that our organization will take.

A strong sense of working backwards and product ownership, alongside inclinations to collaborate with your team, will ensure that the products we build and the analyses you conduct continuously improve the level of service we can provide to the USBA organization.

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.

3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau or Power BI.

Bachelor's degree in finance, data analytics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a related technical or quantitative field.

Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.

Experience with SQL and making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company.

Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
