Job Summary

We are seeking an Administrative Health Unit Coordinator to join our team at Trinity Health Of New England. This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, with a salary of $45,000-$55,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient flow on the unit, ensuring seamless communication among healthcare professionals.
  • Process and prioritize patient orders, maintaining accurate records and updating patient charts as needed.
  • Prepare and disassemble patient charts, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Compile and distribute necessary documents, forms, and reports for patient care and administrative purposes.
  • Communicate effectively with various departments and healthcare teams to facilitate efficient patient care.
  • Procure and manage supplies, equipment, and materials, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and addressing inquiries in a professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Business degree or certification preferred.
  • Certification: Healthcare Unit Coordinator (HUC) certification highly valued.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
