Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Access Health Navigator to join our Clinical Services team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in outreach and healthcare, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
This role involves helping Connecticut residents engage, educate, and enroll in health insurance, while promoting the Exchange's services.
Responsibilities- Fulfill training and certification requirements, including the Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange's Navigator Training Program;
- Conduct outreach to underserved communities, particularly African-American and Hispanic populations;
- Educate prospective enrollees about the health selection recovery process and premium tax credits;
- Maintain necessary expertise in eligibility, enrollment, and program specifications for the Exchange;
- Link with business organizations to facilitate outreach and referrals;
- Promote events and market the program via social media and local media outlets;
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
A valid Connecticut driver's license is required, as well as active certification in good standing.
The ideal candidate will have one to three years of experience in outreach and healthcare, as well as proficiency in MS Office and computer skills.
