Your Responsibilities
The Guest Service Agent plays a vital role in managing guest registration and check-out processes, overseeing communication operations, and providing exceptional service throughout.
Key Duties Include:
- Reviewing guest arrivals and accommodating special requests.
- Checking in and out guests with professionalism and warmth.
- Responding to phone inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Completing daily operational checklists by the end of your shift.
- Conducting pre-assignments of rooms, including VIPs and special requests.
- Adhering to established key control policies.
- Ensuring compliance with credit policies.
- Managing lost and found items with proper documentation.
- Balancing daily shift transactions, including cash and credit operations.
- Monitoring room availability and adjusting selling strategies accordingly.
- Participating in monthly departmental meetings.
Collaboration
Maintain effective communication with various departments, including Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, and Valet, to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
- Familiarity with local services, attractions, and events.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to thrive under pressure during peak times.
- Proficiency in hotel systems and accurate data entry.
