Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Opportunity

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Round Rock, Texas.

Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will perform high-quality radiology procedures, adhering to established protocols and ensuring timely completion. This role requires excellent communication skills, as the specialist will interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiology procedures, maintaining production and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring safety and quality.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control policies, and radiation protocols.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Assist in maintaining supplies inventory and reporting issues to management.
  • Ensure people are safe to enter the department by screening them according to approved policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • ARRT-R Radiography certification.
  • Ability to perform high-quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures.
