SJS Executives, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Equipment Planner to work in our Long Beach, California location. As a Medical Equipment Planner, you will be responsible for developing and delivering medical equipment plans for healthcare capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer services and programs related to the operation and safety of Federal facilities.
  • Produce procurement packages following VA/GSA contracting procurement standards.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend equipment for large and small renovation projects and new healthcare facilities.
  • Interpret and review architectural plans for concurrence with organizational standards and equipment specifications.
  • Produce initial clinical space equipment lists with required and appropriate clinical equipment.
  • Apply continuous improvement to process and development of material flow to deliver optimum level scheduling and planning.
  • Provide inputs for the development of draft project cost estimates.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and report on healthcare-related technology trends.
  • Identify and track inventory of existing equipment in areas planned to be relocated or decommissioned.
  • Enter equipment information into VA database when projects are completed.
  • Help develop processes, standards, and documentation for equipment procurement.
  • Maintain a digital resource library with drawings, plans, specification procurement documents, project correspondence, and project binders.

Requirements:

  • Preferred education of bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Minimum 2+ years of work experience in Medical Planning Design.
  • Project Management and Interior Design knowledge is beneficial.
  • Experience with integration of medical equipment and associated infrastructure technology.
  • Maintains functional knowledge of relevant safety codes and standards.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat DC.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project.
  • Safeguard confidential information and comply with VA privacy act laws.
  • Pass a drug test and thorough background check.

The Pay for this position will be $60,320 annually. The benefits will also include 11 paid federal holidays per year, combined 80 hours accrued PTO and Sick time, and medical, health, dental, vision, and life insurance package.
