TCWGlobal is a leading aerospace manufacturing firm specializing in advanced manufacturing technologies, launch vehicles, and rocket engines for commercial orbital launch services.

Role Overview:
As a Procurement Specialist in Indirect Supply Management, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with various internal and external teams to establish operational strategies, processes, and tools essential for meeting customer demands for our launch services. You will engage closely with development and manufacturing engineering teams to oversee comprehensive procurement activities at our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with internal teams in Engineering, Construction, Facilities, and Manufacturing to collect detailed procurement requirements and convert them into purchase orders.
  • Oversee the complete RFx process in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to identify top suppliers, enhance competition within the supply market, and maximize procurement value.
  • Generate purchase orders in the ERP system and liaise with approvers to articulate and justify purchases.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, terms, and conditions to achieve optimal outcomes for the organization.
  • Manage the entire purchase order lifecycle and address invoice discrepancies to ensure timely delivery of products or services and prompt invoice payments.
  • Resolve supply chain-related challenges throughout the procure-to-pay process.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Procurement, Buyer, Order Management, or Supply Chain roles within manufacturing or engineering sectors.
  • Proficient in ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Experience handling a high volume of purchase orders daily.
  • Understanding of purchase order management and coordination with Accounts Payable to ensure timely invoice payments.
  • Ability to receive purchase orders, obtain quotes, and issue purchase orders effectively.
  • Experience in creating purchase orders within the ERP system and communicating effectively with approvers.
  • Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing excellent support.
  • Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders across Engineering, Construction, Facilities, and Manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to gather comprehensive procurement requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable purchase orders.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating pricing, lead times, and contract terms.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments.
  • Basic proficiency in Excel and ability to create simple spreadsheets.
  • Preferred: Experience in the aerospace or frontier technology sectors.
