**Job Summary**

Baptist Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team in the Clinical Lab and Pathology Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing, interpreting, and validating tests as ordered by physicians, while ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Independently perform and interpret tests, following approved departmental procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Determine if test results meet quality control program requirements and repeat tests as necessary.
  • Utilize complex problem-solving skills to resolve clinical and instrument issues.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or a related science field.
  • Certification in clinical laboratory science by recognized certifying agencies, to be achieved within one year of hire.
  • Membership in a professional organization is preferred.
