Job Summary:

The Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development is a key leader at Rutland Regional Medical Center, responsible for developing and implementing strategic human resources initiatives that drive business results and support the organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement human resources policies and programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Provide operational support and direction to the Human Resources team, ensuring effective delivery of HR services and programs.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement organizational development initiatives that drive business results and improve employee engagement.
  • Develop and manage budgets for human resources programs and initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and providing guidance to employees and management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with employees, management, and external partners to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in business administration, human resources management, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in human resources management, with 5 years at a director level.
  • Expert-level knowledge of human resources operations and laws, including EEOC, federal and state employment laws, immigration requirements, and ADA.
  • High degree of emotional intelligence and ability to interact with all levels of management and employees.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
