Community Hospital Human Resources Director

This community hospital has been a staple in the healthcare of Vermont and is one of the largest community hospitals in the state. The hospital has grown significantly over the years, expanding its facilities, services, and specialties to meet the evolving needs of patients. This hospital offers a wide range of comprehensive medical services such as surgical services, emergency services, diagnostic imaging, maternity and women's health, behavioral health, and rehabilitation services.
The Director will provide leadership and guidance to the HR team and ensure the delivery of comprehensive HR services. They will oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, and succession planning processes. They will be in charge of managing employee relations issues, ensuring legal compliance and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment while serving as a trusted advisor to management and staff on HR-related matters. The Director will lead organizational development efforts, including change management, organizational design, and culture transformation and implement programs that improve organizational effectiveness and employee performance.
WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Proven experience in organizational development and change management
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
