Job Title: Field Sales Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our Sales team. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for working with our partners to enable them to sell our full suite of services. This includes educating potential partners on our solution, signing them up, and working with them to contact and visit customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for Building36 partners in the assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Sell Building36 technology solutions to HVAC customers via our partner channel
  • Interact with customers about available services and solutions
  • Act as the escalation point for technical issues after both partner's internal technical team and the tech support team have attempted to resolve any issues
  • Provide product support and installation trainings to partners in order to increase sales
  • Gather feedback from partners and partner customers on how we can improve our product and processes
  • Represent Building36 at various industry trade shows and events
  • Stay up to date with new Building36 product release features to properly respond to partner inquiries
  • Working within the sales organization to facilitate customer success
  • Work with CSRs and Dispatch to maximize calendar with quality homeowner leads
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in field sales preferred
  • The ability to communicate with customers and vendors, both in writing and verbally, in a clear, professional manner
  • A self-starter capable of operating independently
  • Strong people skills; natural customer service orientation and disposition - candidate must enjoy working with clients and supporting internal customers in the organization
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • The ability and commitment to meet deadlines, even during high volume periods
  • Flexible and positive attitude that fosters team spirit
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Experience using PowerPoint and other presentation development tools desired
  • Ability to travel locally up to 80% of the time in order to engage with dealer partners and customers
  • Comfort with hardware installation is a plus
  • Experience in the HVAC market is a plus
  • BA or BS, Engineering, Math, Business or Sciences preferred but not required
