About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the State of Georgia's community behavioral health center. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals who require treatment and support to cope with mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, licensed counselors, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments as needed.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health issues and treatment options.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
  • Experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably in a community-based setting.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
