Job Overview

Schedule: Monday - Thursday - 10:00 am - 7:30 pm (4 hours on Sunday).


Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Analyst will collaborate with the QA Manager to oversee the management of process deviation investigations and resolutions related to quality holds. This role will also support initiatives concerning new or modified products as necessary. The Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing various processes, including environmental assessments, reporting, product sampling, and ingredient evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Understand Environmental Monitoring, Swabbing, and Cross Contamination Prevention.
  2. Implement quality assurance initiatives to identify and rectify defects in both new and existing products.
  3. Establish, execute, and continuously refine quality and food safety protocols, including GMP/Hygiene, HACCP, Allergen Control, Hold & Release, Cleaning & Sanitation, CAPA, Pest Management, Traceability & Recall, Customer Feedback, GFSI Standards, Organic & other System Certifications.
  4. Provide management with relevant quality-related information.
  5. Complete facility pre-audit questionnaires promptly.
  6. Analyze and report testing outcomes against specifications while engaging with management.
  7. Conduct quality and food safety testing as required.
  8. Maintain a professional demeanor that reflects the highest ethical standards of the Company.
  9. Collect and prepare samples for management review and sensory assessments.
  10. Assist lab personnel as needed and initiate investigations as assigned or requested.
  11. This description outlines essential functions as assigned by management; it does not limit the tasks that may be assigned.
  12. Acquire necessary licenses for Milk Receiving & Antibiotic Testing, HTST/Pasteurization, and testing requirements.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • 0-2 years of experience (entry-level).

Education and Experience:
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word is essential.
  • Strong communication abilities and the capacity to work independently.
  • A sense of responsibility and a willingness to exceed expectations.
