Position Title: Quality Assurance Coordinator
Employment Type: Full-time/Direct Hire
Reporting To: Operations Manager
Work Schedule: Day Shift
Compensation: Up to $34/hour, based on qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the formulation and execution of the quality management framework.
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9000 standards to integrate effective quality protocols into everyday operations.
- Collaborate with plant management to facilitate ISO certification and audit activities.
- Develop and sustain a Quality Management System (QMS), including the creation of technical documentation and reports to support quality and process enhancements.
- Conduct visual and in-process inspections to verify compliance with established standards.
- Educate and assist production teams on quality policies and procedures.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with a high school diploma, trade school, or associate degree in a relevant area, along with equivalent experience, will also be considered.
- Proven experience with ISO 9000 standards is essential.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and work instructions effectively.
