Job Title: Corporate Controller

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing all aspects of the accounting and finance functions, including managing the consolidated financial close process, year-end financial audit, and monitoring cash flows to meet working capital needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the accounting/finance team, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Oversee accounting operations and finance functions, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, daily transaction posting, cash reports, and forecast spreadsheets.
  • Create and implement policies and procedures to identify, resolve, and document accounting issues.
  • Identify and implement procedures to make the close and reporting process more efficient and accurate.
  • Prepare and review monthly consolidated financial statements, including follow-up on open accounts receivable.
  • Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data, including analyzing and reporting variances to budget.
  • Calculate and forecast revenue and expenses.
  • Monitor cash position and prepare cash flow statements, financial reports, etc.
  • Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
  • Act as primary contact for all audit and tax activity with outside firms and regulatory entities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA certification preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in financial accounting with at least 5 years of experience managing an accounting/finance team.
  • Prior experience working in a professional office environment.
