Our team members are dedicated to providing personalized care and creating a sense of community among residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary clinical resource person to communities in your assigned territory, providing information, instruction, and direction to support high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with community leadership teams and regional managers to ensure compliance with nursing standards, Sonida Senior Living guidelines, and regulatory agencies.
  • Provide accurate and timely advice on risk management issues, quality indicators, and regulatory matters.
  • Conduct QA audits, develop plans of correction, and monitor progress with communities.
  • Support Wellness Directors in their roles, including mentoring, providing feedback, and education as needed.
  • Review incident reports to identify regulatory issues, non-compliance with Sonida Senior Living policies, or risk issues.
  • Assist communities with state regulatory compliance, including identifying lapses and self-reporting as required.
  • Visit assigned communities to review, monitor, and audit the quality of nurse care provided to residents.
Requirements
  • RN preferred; LPN/LVN may be considered if actively pursuing a RN degree and demonstrating ability to perform QA assignments.
  • Experience as a Wellness Director in assisted living is required; experience in other leadership roles in senior living may be considered.
  • This position requires travel at least 65% of the time, with some travel possible with limited notice.
