About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Safety Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Talnt. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance across our production facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement food safety and quality programs in line with regulatory and SQF standards.
  • Oversee the quality control process to ensure all products meet safety and quality expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, updating policies as needed.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain product standards.
  • Train and develop employees on food safety and quality assurance procedures, fostering a strong culture of compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance management.
  • In-depth knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and food safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in food manufacturing and familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • SQF Practitioner certification or similar food safety certifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
  • Knowledge of regulatory audits and interfacing with regulatory bodies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
