Job Title: Chef

Modern Restaurant Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet customer expectations.
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and storage to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes that exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a head chef or senior culinary director in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as culinary best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • BS degree in Culinary Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
