The primary focus will be on pivotal urology accounts and pertinent institutions, including surgical centers and hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that target accounts are well-informed about all relevant billing and coding protocols associated with UroGen products.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in targeted accounts.
  • Comprehend billing and coding obligations within target institutions: Urology clinics, Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC), and Hospitals.
  • Address reimbursement inquiries for each account effectively.
  • Stay informed about all relevant reimbursement regulations pertaining to Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial payers.
  • Collaborate effectively with other members of the account team to achieve optimal outcomes for both patients and accounts.
  • Translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans tailored for each account.
  • Exhibit expertise in the disease area, product knowledge, surgical procedures, and reimbursement protocols.
  • Organize and execute administrative tasks efficiently, including call reporting, expense documentation, and account management.
  • Identify and understand unique opportunities within the geographical area.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sectors.
  • At least 2 years of experience in reimbursement is mandatory.
  • Preferred experience includes 2 years in hospital or large account settings.
  • Urology experience is also preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of achieving performance targets.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across functions and within the region to share insights, assist in training, and develop best practices.
  • Resourceful, innovative, enthusiastic, and results-driven.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight stays, is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
