Position Overview
The Reimbursement Solutions Manager will play a crucial role in guiding targeted accounts within their designated region to navigate the reimbursement landscape effectively when utilizing UroGen products. This position is aligned with company compliance standards, internal protocols, and sanctioned resources. The primary focus will be on pivotal urology accounts and pertinent institutions, including surgical centers and hospitals.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that target accounts are well-informed about all relevant billing and coding protocols associated with UroGen products.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in targeted accounts.
- Comprehend billing and coding obligations within target institutions: Urology clinics, Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC), and Hospitals.
- Address reimbursement inquiries for each account effectively.
- Stay informed about all relevant reimbursement regulations pertaining to Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial payers.
- Collaborate effectively with other members of the account team to achieve optimal outcomes for both patients and accounts.
- Translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans tailored for each account.
- Exhibit expertise in the disease area, product knowledge, surgical procedures, and reimbursement protocols.
- Organize and execute administrative tasks efficiently, including call reporting, expense documentation, and account management.
- Identify and understand unique opportunities within the geographical area.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sectors.
- At least 2 years of experience in reimbursement is mandatory.
- Preferred experience includes 2 years in hospital or large account settings.
- Urology experience is also preferred.
- Demonstrated history of achieving performance targets.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively across functions and within the region to share insights, assist in training, and develop best practices.
- Resourceful, innovative, enthusiastic, and results-driven.
- Willingness to travel, including overnight stays, is required.
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
