About the Role

Noblis is seeking a highly skilled Submarine Systems Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia, Navy Yard. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and testing of submarine auxiliary machinery systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support testing and troubleshooting efforts for auxiliary machinery control systems, including propulsion controls, indicator drive units, and hotwell controls.
  • Develop, review, and execute test plans and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of submarine systems.
  • Evaluate technical information received from the Fleet and develop technical documentation to support engineering efforts.
  • Provide engineering support for the design, repair, installation, modification, maintenance, and operation of submarine systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 3 years of related experience, or High School Diploma and 9 years of related experience, or equivalent experience serving on a Nuclear Submarine.
  • Prior Navy Nuclear training is required.
  • 25% travel is required.
  • DoD Secret clearance is desired, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot challenging technical issues.
  • NAVSUP experience is a plus.
