Key Responsibilities:

• Foster healthy communities by creating economic opportunities, building a high-functioning workforce, improving access to services, and strengthening families.
• Leverage Sealaska's deep social and cultural investments to elevate shareholder well-being and foster an environment where cultural and economic growth go hand-in-hand.
• Partner and collaborate with tribal, local, and business leaders to create impactful education, health, and training programs.
• Ensure shareholders are informed, engaged, and empowered with access to the full range of benefits and opportunities Sealaska provides.

Requirements:

• Has personal, familial, or professional experience in overcoming significant geo-political and/or socio-economic challenges that can serve as an inspiration to those who aspire to do the same.
• Has demonstrated expertise in leading, designing, implementing, and measuring successful social programs in disparate, rural areas struggling with inadequate resources.
• Has built consensus and alignment among competing interests to drive support for plans and initiatives, as well as carry them out.
• Is transparent, intuitive, ambitious, curious, deliberate, entrepreneurial, empathetic, assertive, confident, collaborative, willing to listen, open to change and challenge, forthright, truthful, and passionate about doing the right thing.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or other applicable field of study or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of leadership/management experience.
