Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Performance Improvement/Quality and Risk Management program at SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction and management of day-to-day activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes
  • Lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective coordination of quality-related activities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field, with specialized education/training in quality improvement, risk management, or a related field
  • Master's degree in a health-related or business field preferred
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification required within 18 months of hire
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) certification required within 24 months of hire
  • Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) certification required within 36 months of hire
Experience
  • Five years of experience in healthcare administration or performance improvement management
  • Three years of experience supervising healthcare professionals
