Budget Manager Job Description

Corporate Temps is seeking a highly skilled Budget Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the City's operating and Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the annual operating and CIP budgets
  • Prepare revenue analysis and budget reports
  • Coordinate budget meetings with department heads and City Council
  • Administer and monitor leases and related purchase programs
  • Assist with financial software management and reporting
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years of budget preparation, analysis, and administration experience
  • Knowledge of financial systems, capital budgets, and government funding sources
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
Working Conditions:

This position reports directly to the Finance Director and requires strong analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial systems, capital budgets, and government funding sources.
