Advanced Practice Provider for Pediatric Care

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for Pediatric Care to join our team. As a Nurse Practitioner for Acute Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and families in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Assess patients and populations as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
• Develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care and participate in focused care coordination amongst appropriate stakeholders
• Represent the Perinatal AIM Team at off-site delivery hospitals
• Utilize evidence-based practice to serve as a clinical expert for policies, procedures, documentation, and skills
• Assist in the education, training, and development of new and existing staff members
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and leverage technology to optimize healthcare outcomes
Qualifications
• Master of Science degree or equivalent provision
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Ohio
• National certification as APRN in the appropriate population foci for the position, or PA
• Experience with neonatal, pediatric intensive care, hospice, or pediatric palliative care preferred
