Key Responsibilities:- Provide Direct Healthcare Services: Offer first aid, administer medications, and manage chronic health conditions to students.
- Assess and Respond to Student Health Concerns: Promptly assess and respond to students' health concerns, injuries, and illnesses, providing appropriate care and referrals as needed.
- Develop Individualized Healthcare Plans: Collaborate with parents/guardians and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs.
- Maintain Accurate Health Records: Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including immunization records, health assessments, and documentation of healthcare services provided.
- Educate Students and Staff: Educate students, parents, and staff on health-related topics, including preventive care, hygiene practices, and emergency procedures.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License: Possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in a School or Pediatric Setting: Have experience working as a nurse in a school, pediatric, or related healthcare setting (experience in an educational setting preferred).
- Strong Clinical Skills: Possess strong clinical skills, including first aid, medication administration, and assessment of common childhood illnesses and injuries.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
- Ability to Work Independently: Be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
