Clinical Nurse Supervisor

Join the Kennewick School District as a Clinical Nurse Supervisor and play a vital role in shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. As a Clinical Nurse Supervisor, you will work closely with nurse educators to supervise groups of students during clinical patient care training at local health care facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise students during clinical patient care training and enforce facility policies
- Assist nurse educators in the clinical rotation and classroom skills lab
- Work with nurse educators to plan and track student progress
- Report student observations and maintain accurate records
- Assist in supervising and controlling students to promote a safe and positive learning environment
- Current, unencumbered Washington State nursing license (LPN or RN, RN preferred)
- One year of current bedside care experience within the past three years in long term care, geriatrics, or medically fragile
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff, and management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use basic computer programs to maintain records and enter timecard information
- Previous mentoring or proctoring experience
