Position Overview:

The Client Support Specialist serves as a vital link between the company and its clientele, providing essential assistance and support to both customers and Technical Sales Associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engages with clients through various communication channels including phone, email, and online chat to deliver information and assistance regarding products and services.
  • Processes orders for new or additional products efficiently.
  • Collaborates with the Technical Sales Associate on pricing discussions and contract evaluations.
  • Addresses customer inquiries and concerns; escalates complex issues to the designated Technical Sales Associate or relevant personnel.
  • Ensures prompt resolution of customer issues and satisfaction.
  • Maintains accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and feedback.
  • Monitors inventory levels for specific customer-related products.
  • Assists in project management alongside the Technical Sales Associate.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Outstanding communication abilities, including active listening.
  • Customer-focused with a knack for resolving issues.
  • Strong computer proficiency with a willingness to learn new software.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications.
  • Technical math and mechanical aptitude are advantageous.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in inside sales or customer service is required.
  • Experience in interpreting blueprints is beneficial.
  • Background in rubber, seal, gasket, or other industrial components is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, non-exempt role, typically requiring work Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
