Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure classroom coverage while adhering to teacher/child ratios as outlined by the supervisor.
  • Oversee and engage with children during both indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Maintain detailed records of children's development, routines, and interests, and communicate necessary information to parents.
  • Assist in the planning of the curriculum and preparation for daily activities.
  • Support food preparation and meal service.
  • Contribute to the completion of daily cleaning tasks and end-of-day responsibilities.
  • Uphold a clean and hygienic environment.

Qualifications

A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in child care is required, with 3 years preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency.

High energy levels and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, children, and parents to promote a team-oriented atmosphere.

A solid understanding of child development principles.

Outstanding leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid is required.

Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
