We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Milton Family Community Center. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young students.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the unique needs of our students, aged 0-5 years old.
- Collaborate with our experienced Early Childhood Program Director and Lead Teacher to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with Vermont licensing regulations and NAEYC accreditation standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including daily paperwork for the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
- Assess student progress using the Teaching Strategies Gold online profile.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of our childcare programs.
- Meet the minimum qualifications for an early childhood teacher assistant as described by the Vermont Child Development Division.
- Hold a Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level One (1) or Two (2) Certificate, or equivalent.
- Have at least 12 months of experience working with groups of children from grade three (3) or younger.
