Job Title: Hospice Massage Therapist

At Residential Home Health and Hospice, we're seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our extraordinary care team.

About the Role:

We're looking for a Massage Therapist with a minimum of five years of experience in therapeutic massage, particularly with the geriatric population. As a Hospice Massage Therapist, you'll provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with Hospice protocols and accepted certification practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide massage and body treatments to patients in accordance with Hospice protocols
  • Effectively inform and educate patients about specific wellness concerns
  • Be flexible with your schedule to support patient needs
  • Uphold standards of sanitation and sterilization
  • Communicate with RN Case Manager or Nurse Supervisor regarding patient issues
  • Handle patient questions and concerns professionally
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment
  • Participate in staff meetings and perform aromatherapy during patient massage visits upon request
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college coursework preferred
  • Minimum of five years of therapeutic massage experience
  • Experience working with geriatric population
  • Ability to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs, and values
  • Proficiency with computers
