Job Description

At Residential Home Health and Hospice, we're seeking a compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Hospice Massage Therapist, you will provide professional massage and body treatments to patients in accordance with Hospice protocols and accepted certification practices. You will also educate patients about specific wellness concerns and maintain a positive attitude in a quality work environment.

We're looking for a candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework preferred, and a minimum of five years of therapeutic massage experience. You should be proficient with computers and able to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs, and values. If you're passionate about providing exceptional care to patients, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with Hospice protocols and accepted certification practices
  • Effectively inform and educate patients about specific wellness concerns
  • Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the patient
  • Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as required
  • Communicate to RN Case Manager or Nurse Supervisor all occurrences involving patient issues that require attention
  • Handle patient questions and concerns professionally and courteously
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
  • Regularly attend and participate in staff meetings
  • Perform aromatherapy during patient massage visits upon patient/family request and approval, as trained

What We're Looking For
