Hospice Massage Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at Residential Home Health and Hospice. As a Hospice Massage Therapist, you will provide professional massage and body treatments to patients in accordance with Hospice protocols and accepted certification practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide consistent and high-quality massage and body treatments to patients
  • Effectively educate patients about wellness concerns and provide guidance on self-care
  • Be flexible with your schedule to support patient needs
  • Uphold standards of sanitation and sterilization
  • Communicate with RN Case Manager or Nurse Supervisor regarding patient issues
  • Handle patient questions and concerns professionally
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college coursework preferred
  • A minimum of five years of therapeutic massage experience
  • Experience working with geriatric population
  • Ability to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs, and values
  • Proficiency with computers
