Key Responsibilities:

The Certified Recovery Support Specialist plays a crucial role in engaging and motivating individuals served, facilitating impactful discussions that help them identify, develop, and achieve their personal recovery objectives. This position also involves providing insights to the team to enhance and uphold Telecare's Recovery Culture, as outlined by the Telecare Recovery Centered Clinical System (RCCS), ensuring that each individual's perspectives and preferences are acknowledged, respected, and incorporated into their care and self-help initiatives. Furthermore, Recovery Support Specialists are trained to respond effectively to urgent situations, employing advanced engagement and de-escalation techniques to maintain a supportive environment for individuals facing mental health or addiction crises.

Available Shifts:

Full-Time; Monday - Friday; Hours: :am - :pm

The anticipated wage range for this position is $ - $ per hour, with adjustments based on geographic location. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience exceeding the minimum qualifications.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Certification as a Peer Specialist or completion of Peer Support Training.
  • A minimum of one year or equivalent part-time experience assisting individuals with behavioral health challenges.
  • Personal experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system.
  • Successful completion of Peer Support Training or Peer Employment Training.
  • A valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
  • Willingness to utilize your personal vehicle for transporting clients to appointments and group sessions.
  • Willingness to use the company vehicle for client transportation.
  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle for attending meetings.
