As part of our team, you will:

  • Utilize your personal vehicle for outreach and community engagement.
  • Assist callers by providing navigation and linkage to necessary services, problem-solving options, and offering encouragement.
  • Maintain timely communication with callers, ensuring their questions are answered while fostering supportive relationships.
  • Document all interactions as required, adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining professional boundaries.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience as a first responder or a history of utilizing mental health and/or substance use services is advantageous.
  • Possession of a valid California driver's license and auto insurance is mandatory.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of community resources and the ability to build relationships with peers.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Basic to intermediate computer proficiency.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position is primarily remote, with occasional in-office meetings as needed.
  • Requires significant sitting, with some standing and walking.
  • May involve lifting or moving items up to 20 pounds.
