Job Title: Assistant Project Manager - Healthcare/Life Science

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team at OAC Services Inc. This role will provide construction and contract management support for our healthcare and life science projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage small to medium-sized projects, including construction and contract administration.
  • Interface with clients, contractors, and vendors to facilitate project progress.
  • Assist with administration of construction contracts, including RFI's, Change Orders, and Daily Reports.
  • Provide quality and safety assurance through job site walks and daily reports.
  • Review and verify invoicing and monthly consultant and contractor progress payments.
  • Develop and maintain project progress photos and required documentation.
  • Assist with commissioning and testing of building systems and equipment.
  • Facilitate owner integration prior to and during the occupancy phase of the project.
Requirements:
  • 1-4 years of construction/project management experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of construction industry practices and related administrative processes.
  • Experience with web-based project management tools.
  • Acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
  • Facilities Management experience.
  • General Contractor experience.
  • Life Science experience.
