We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Construction Inspector to join our team at VRX, Inc. in El Paso, Texas. As a leading civil engineering firm, we offer a comprehensive benefit package and a stable, profitable, and growing work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect construction methods and workmanship to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Consult with project engineers, resident project representatives, and contractors' superintendents on work progress and construction problems.
- Ensure adequate levels of equipment and materials are assigned to projects.
- Prepare monthly and final estimates and resolve differences in interpretation of plans and specifications.
- Document work progress and issues arising throughout the scope of the project.
- 5-10 years of experience with highway construction inspection.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to move up to 50 pounds.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and methods.
- Proficiency in using computers and applicable programs, applications, and systems.
