Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular workplace inspections to assess progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors to facilitate project completion.
- Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to develop on-site plans and procedures.
- Manage project documentation, including schedules, RFIs, and tracking reports.
- Identify and resolve potential problems, work interference, and schedule difficulties.
- Coordinate work among subcontractors to achieve smooth project completion.
- Ensure overall site safety by enforcing project procedures and safety program requirements.
- Document violations, notify project management, and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in recruiting, assessing, and hiring construction personnel.
- Supervise and train direct reports to achieve project objectives.
- 3+ years of related work experience, with 1+ years of field supervision experience preferred.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting Light Industrial projects is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents.
- Working knowledge of general construction methods and practices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
The physical demands for this position are moderate, requiring the ability to sit comfortably, walk, stand, bend, or carry items. There may be times of physical exertion, such as long periods of standing or walking over rough surfaces.
This role requires above-average agility and dexterity, as well as good vision, hearing, and speaking abilities.
Standard project site environments may include machinery, parts, and chemicals, requiring protective gear.
