NDT Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled NDT Inspector to join our team. As an NDT Inspector, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing, visual testing, penetrant testing, and ultrasonic immersion testing on various materials and products.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform tests to inspect tubing materials, thinner welds, surface flaws, corrosion, wall sizing, and thicker forms of welding.
- Set up equipment to perform non-destructive testing using ultrasonic testing and/or other non-destructive testing methods on parts, following specified procedures.
- Examine surface and locate discontinuities in product or metal structure.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of various materials and products, including welds.
- Develop and/or follow work instructions for approved procedures.
- Prepare and generate reports and/or documentation outlining findings and conclusions.
- Evaluate test and inspection results against designated standards.
- Participate in customer and/or quality audits.
- Maintain clean and orderly work environment.
- Demonstrate ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with coworkers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback.
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
- Certifications in NDT Level II in accordance with SNT-TC-1A and/or NAS410 in at least one of the following methods: UT, VT, PT.
- Knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection methods.
- Knowledge of and ability to use non-destructive testing methods, including ultrasonic immersion testing techniques.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and handle workflow.
- Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to use basic mathematical equations.
- Knowledge of and ability to use basic computer functions.
- Ability to measure and read dimensional tolerance tools and equipment.
- Ability to view details in close range.
