Position OverviewAs a Lawn Care Specialist, you will deliver exceptional customer service to residential or commercial clients by applying lawn/landscape treatments, diagnosing and resolving lawn/landscaping issues through service calls and other customer interactions, and promoting services to new and existing customers, contributing to the expansion of our client base.
Responsibilities- Apply fertilizers and pesticides to lawns, shrubs, and trees according to established schedules, safety protocols, and product instructions.
- Operate company vehicles to transport yourself to customer locations.
- Respond promptly to customer requests for telephone and in-person service calls.
- Complete required production forms and provide clear instructions to customers.
- Measure lawns of potential clients to offer accurate cost estimates for lawn care services.
- Maintain company vehicles, spray equipment, and other tools in a clean and functional condition.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Training in horticulture or post-secondary education is preferred.
- Prior experience is beneficial but not required. We are committed to training eager individuals.
- The company will cover the cost of obtaining or renewing relevant licenses.
- Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Capacity to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, including punctuality. Consistent attendance is essential.
- Ability to meet the company's driving requirements, including maintaining a valid driver's license and adhering to safe driving practices.
