Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Nurse Manager to join our team at AdventHealth Ocala. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating patient care delivery on our assigned nursing units, ensuring the highest quality patient care and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate patient care delivery on assigned nursing units
  • Plan, direct, and evaluate all nursing service functions and activities
  • Conduct concurrent chart audits to ensure accurate and complete charting
  • Coordinate staff educational needs and implement training programs
  • Achieve operational objectives by contributing to strategic plans and reviews

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • BSN preferred
  • Minimum of one-year hospital acute care RN nursing experience and one-year prior leadership experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • Current valid Florida State Board of Nursing Registered Professional Nurse license
