Job Title: Assistant Nurse Manager Med Surg Medical Nights

AdventHealth Florida is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Assistant Nurse Manager for our Med Surg department. This is a full-time, night shift position at our Ocala, Florida location.

About the Role:
  • Assist the Nurse Manager in planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the Med Surg department.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of one-year hospital acute care RN nursing experience and one-year prior leadership experience.
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
  • Current valid Florida State Board of Nursing Registered Professional Nurse license.
